I was born and raised in Agassiz, British Columbia, which is a village about 5 kilometers south of Harrison Hot Springs. I moved to Vancouver Island in July 2008 and I’ve never looked back.
Throughout my young adulthood, both on the mainland and the south island, I have worked in the concrete and sheet metal industries. While I enjoyed my time working in these trades, I was excited to hang up my tool belt, for the most part, and start a career in real estate.
I first became interested in obtaining my real estate licence in 2009 after I had a bad experience with an agent, when purchasing my first home on the island. Throughout the transaction, I never felt like the agent had my best interests at heart. I remember thinking that there must be a better way for this kind of transaction to transpire.
I come to this business as a homeowner and a landlord. I pride myself on sufficiently educating my clients and potential clients on the ins and outs of property transactions. Whether you’re a purchaser or a seller, real estate is often the biggest investment of your life. It is something I don’t take lightly. I am confident when I say my past clients, friends and coworkers would describe my demeanor and approach to real estate as honest, hardworking and straightforward. I will never sell you a home, I am not a salesman. What I will do is act in your best interest, as your agent and educator, and help you make the best decision for you and/or your family.
I have a trusted network of contacts to ensure your real estate transaction goes as smoothly as possible. Often, another professional is required to help you make the right decision: whether it be a surveyor, lawyer or building inspector, I will ensure that you have all the information you need.
I endeavour to keep on top of the current news and changes in real estate through member interaction, professional development courses and industry experts.
I am a new resident of Broadmead in Saanich, and was married in Maui, Hawaii in the fall of 2017. In my spare time I enjoy working on improvements in and around our home and staying fit with Vic City Crossfit or running around the neighbourhood. When I have more than a few days off, I try to go back home and get out on my quad with buddies or travel to sunny destinations.
I look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have.
